Life can be so confusing...I'm searching for answers, everywhere... and so I start with... myself 1st

Dear Self.

I just want to tell you how much I value you.

Without you, I would be nowhere.
It is through you that I know God.
It is through you that I know others.
It is through you that I know my world.
It is through you that I know myself.

When all else leave me, who will be there to guide me?
When all else lose faith in me, who else will believe?
When all others are against me, who will be on my side?
Thank you for being me and my side.

And so during my very short stay on this planet, let's be best friends...
