Raining

This owner Mr K , a @$$HOLE bought a car from 1 of our ex-salesman Mr wonder Boy with the ECU chip upgrading the BHP up to 200 , came yesterday screaming as if it's the end of world at me, because the dash insert in his car is showing the "CHECK ENGINE" warning light, with other problems like high RPM and noisy engine.

Upon diagnostic check carry out it is found the the ECU is faulty, modified and it has to be replaced. (refer pic 1)

It was found that of of the chip was modified by 1 of our "sister" company and so I call up the manager Mr B.C asking for his help....

I was told this dumb @$$ B.C, that they will need to sent the ECU back to his supplier for checking which will takes 10 working days and at this point of time there be no replacement car or replacement ECU from him that can be loan to the customer on a temp basics.

I have checked with my mech that can we put in a new ECU loan from store and let the owner drive the car until we have a reply from the supplier, but I was told that due to the differents in the software the new ECU that was put in cannot be reprogramed and be use in another car and the owner is also no agreeable with a low BHP ECU...

I was also further informed by B.C that his department will not pay for any of the cost for the repair whatsoever should the damage of the ECU is not caused by the chip put in even the ECU was modified by his supplier, and I must prove it in black and white that the damage was cause by the modifying of the ECU should I do not agree with their finding.

And as if I gives a shit about it... I am letting the "SUPER unhappy customer" calling the K.T the sales manager and which in turn K.T call the GM, while I am taking the best seats in the house and enjoying the fire work...

P.S... I wonder when people will learn not to FARK around with the car, for I believe the factoy build the car the way it is for some very good reason and messing around the factoy setting comes with a price...

Anyway... I hope the Sales will learn a lesson here and really wake up their ideas on modifying cars for customers.
